|Jan. 5, 2018 10:19 AM PT11:19 AM MT12:19 PM CT1:19 PM ET18:19 GMT2:19 11:19 AM MST1:19 PM EST12:19 PM CT22:19 UAE13:19 ETNaN: - McCoy is active for Sunday's playoff game after dealing with an ankle injury all week.
Analysis: He had been listed as questionable, and his ability to cut may be compromised.
|Jan. 3, 2018 6:37 AM PT7:37 AM MT8:37 AM CT9:37 AM ET14:37 GMT22:37 7:37 AM MST9:37 AM EST8:37 AM CT18:37 UAE9:37 ETNaN: - McCoy shed his walking boot and told reporters on Thursday that he's not feeling any pain, but the Buffalo Bills running back wasn't interested in getting ahead of himself. "(I do) not want to make any promises," McCoy said on Thursday, three days ahead of the Bills' wild-card road game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Analysis: McCoy was listed as a non-participant in practice on Thursday despite the positives as he deals with an injured ankle. "I want to be able to cut well enough to where I don't have a lot of pain cutting," McCoy said. "I just want to be close, or the best as far as 100 percent as I can get. The type of game like this, you got to lay it all on the line. If I can't get 100 percent, as long as I'm out there, and I can work effective enough, I'll do it. We'll just see."
|Jan. 2, 2018 7:52 AM PT8:52 AM MT9:52 AM CT10:52 AM ET15:52 GMT23:52 8:52 AM MST10:52 AM EST9:52 AM CT19:52 UAE10:52 ETNaN: - Bills coach Sean McDermott says medical test results on LeSean McCoy's injured right ankle were negative, giving the running back a chance to play against Jacksonville in the AFC wild-card game on Sunday.
Analysis: McDermott would not go into detail except to say the team received "some good news" Monday, a day after McCoy was hurt in a 22-16 win at Miami. McCoy was hurt and carted off the field after a 3-yard run on Buffalo's first possession of the third quarter. The ninth-year player leads Buffalo with 1,138 yards rushing, 59 catches and eight touchdowns, including two receiving. Overall, his 1,586 yards from scrimmage account for 33 percent of the Bills' total.
|Dec. 31, 2017 5:01 PM PT6:01 PM MT7:01 PM CT8:01 PM ET1:01 GMT9:01 6:01 PM MST8:01 PM EST7:01 PM CT5:01 UAE (+1)20:01 ETNaN: - McCoy was carted off the field in the third quarter with a right ankle injury. According to reports, the injury isn't as bad as it first appeared.
Analysis: McCoy's X-rays came back negative so the hope remains that he'll be able to play in next weekend's playoff game at Jacksonville.
|Dec. 24, 2017 3:47 PM PT4:47 PM MT5:47 PM CT6:47 PM ET23:47 GMT7:47 4:47 PM MST6:47 PM EST5:47 PM CT3:47 UAE (+1)18:47 ETNaN: - LeSean McCoy ran for 71 yards on 17 carries Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 37-16 loss to the New England Patriots. He added five receptions for 76 yards.
Analysis: The 76 receiving yards are a season high for McCoy, who has topped 400 receiving yards for the third time in his career.
|Dec. 17, 2017 1:35 PM PT2:35 PM MT3:35 PM CT4:35 PM ET21:35 GMT5:35 2:35 PM MST4:35 PM EST3:35 PM CT1:35 UAE (+1)16:35 ETNaN: - LeSean McCoy ran for 50 yards and one touchdown on 20 carries Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 24-16 win over the Miami Dolphins. He added four receptions for 46 yards and one touchdown.
Analysis: McCoy became the 30th player in NFL history to surpass 10,000 career rushing yards on Sunday while helping the Buffalo Bills keep their playoff hopes alive. He's still getting it done for fantasy owners with a combined 96 total yards and two touchdowns as the Bills improved to 8-6 for just the third time in the 18 years since the team last reached the postseason.
|Dec. 13, 2017 5:19 PM PT6:19 PM MT7:19 PM CT8:19 PM ET1:19 GMT9:19 6:19 PM MST8:19 PM EST7:19 PM CT5:19 UAE (+1)20:19 ETNaN: - After being earlier in the week due to a sore knee, McCoy will play Sunday.
Analysis: This was just a precaution for McCoy, who is coming off a season-best 156-yard rushing performance against the Colts.
|Dec. 10, 2017 1:21 PM PT2:21 PM MT3:21 PM CT4:21 PM ET21:21 GMT5:21 2:21 PM MST4:21 PM EST3:21 PM CT1:21 UAE (+1)16:21 ETNaN: - LeSean McCoy ran for 156 yards and one touchdown on 32 carries Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 13-7 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Analysis: McCoy took advantage of more opportunities in blizzard conditions. He had totaled 142 yards and no scores on 37 attempts over his previous two games.
|Dec. 4, 2017 10:21 AM PT11:21 AM MT12:21 PM CT1:21 PM ET18:21 GMT2:21 11:21 AM MST1:21 PM EST12:21 PM CT22:21 UAE13:21 ETNaN: - McCoy has carried the ball 15 times or fewer in four of the past five games but could see a bigger workload Sunday against the Colts with backup Travaris Cadet in the concussion protocol.
Analysis: Cadet had four rushes for 22 yards in the Week 13 loss to New England.
|Dec. 3, 2017 1:53 PM PT2:53 PM MT3:53 PM CT4:53 PM ET21:53 GMT5:53 2:53 PM MST4:53 PM EST3:53 PM CT1:53 UAE (+1)16:53 ETNaN: - LeSean McCoy ran for 93 yards on 15 carries Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 23-3 loss to the New England Patriots. He added two receptions for nine yards.

|Nov. 26, 2017 2:04 PM PT3:04 PM MT4:04 PM CT5:04 PM ET22:04 GMT6:04 3:04 PM MST5:04 PM EST4:04 PM CT2:04 UAE (+1)17:04 ETNaN: - LeSean McCoy ran for 49 yards on 22 carries Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 16-10 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. He added four receptions for 30 yards.
Analysis: McCoy struggled against what had been a vulnerable KC run defense, but next week he'll face one that's worse: The Patriots allow backs an average of 4.87 yards per carry.
|Nov. 19, 2017 4:49 PM PT5:49 PM MT6:49 PM CT7:49 PM ET0:49 GMT8:49 5:49 PM MST7:49 PM EST6:49 PM CT4:49 UAE (+1)19:49 ETNaN: - LeSean McCoy ran for 114 yards and one touchdown on 13 carries Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 54-24 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. He added one reception for 12 yards and one touchdown.
Analysis: The lone bright spot on an absolutely dreadful day for the Bills, McCoy surpassed 100 rushing yards for the third time this season and now has five touchdowns in five games after scoring none over the season's first five. Buffalo's best offensive player may need to keep reaching the end zone to maintain RB1 status, as he's now had under 15 touches in three straight weeks.
|Nov. 12, 2017 1:29 PM PT2:29 PM MT3:29 PM CT4:29 PM ET21:29 GMT5:29 2:29 PM MST4:29 PM EST3:29 PM CT1:29 UAE (+1)16:29 ETNaN: - LeSean McCoy ran for 49 yards on eight carries Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 47-10 loss to the New Orleans Saints. He added three receptions for 11 yards.
Analysis: The Bills had to abandon the run early in this one, so there was never much of a chance for McCoy to get going.
|Nov. 2, 2017 8:32 PM PT9:32 PM MT10:32 PM CT11:32 PM ET3:32 GMT11:32 8:32 PM MST10:32 PM EST9:32 PM CT7:32 UAE (+1)23:32 ETNaN: - LeSean McCoy ran for 25 yards on 12 carries Thursday in the Buffalo Bills' 34-21 loss to the New York Jets.
Analysis: McCoy came up very small in this game, failing to catch a pass for the first time this season while rushing for 25 yards. He had at least three receptions in every game this season and was coming off a season-high 151-yard rushing effort last week against Oakland. He should be able to rebound next week against a Saints defense that is capable of giving up big plays.
|Oct. 29, 2017 1:24 PM PT2:24 PM MT3:24 PM CT4:24 PM ET20:24 GMT4:24 1:24 PM MST3:24 PM EST2:24 PM CT0:24 UAE (+1)16:24 ETNaN: - LeSean McCoy ran for 151 yards and one touchdown on 27 carries Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 34-14 win over the Oakland Raiders. He added six receptions for 22 yards.

|Oct. 22, 2017 2:28 PM PT3:28 PM MT4:28 PM CT5:28 PM ET21:28 GMT5:28 2:28 PM MST4:28 PM EST4:28 PM CT1:28 UAE (+1)17:28 ETNaN: - LeSean McCoy ran for 91 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 30-27 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He added five receptions for 31 yards and fumbled once.
Analysis: McCoy ended a six-game scoreless drought that matched the longest of his career and dated to the final game of last season. It was his best rushing performance since he had 110 yards in Week 1. McCoy then totaled just 169 yards on 65 carries in the next four games.
|Oct. 8, 2017 1:51 PM PT2:51 PM MT3:51 PM CT4:51 PM ET20:51 GMT4:51 1:51 PM MST3:51 PM EST3:51 PM CT0:51 UAE (+1)16:51 ETNaN: - LeSean McCoy ran for 63 yards on 19 carries Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 20-16 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. He added six receptions for 26 yards.
Analysis: Since rushing for 110 yards with an average of 5 yards per attempt in the opener, McCoy is averaging just 2.6 per carry in the last four games. The Bills are off next week before hosting the Bucs, who have one of the league's top 10 rushing defenses.
|Oct. 1, 2017 1:42 PM PT2:42 PM MT3:42 PM CT4:42 PM ET20:42 GMT4:42 1:42 PM MST3:42 PM EST3:42 PM CT0:42 UAE (+1)16:42 ETNaN: - LeSean McCoy ran for 76 yards on 20 carries Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 23-17 win over the Atlanta Falcons. He added three receptions for 32 yards.
Analysis: The only thing McCoy hasn't done this season is find the end zone, which has to be driving his fantasy owners crazy.
|Sep. 24, 2017 1:09 PM PT2:09 PM MT3:09 PM CT4:09 PM ET20:09 GMT4:09 1:09 PM MST3:09 PM EST3:09 PM CT0:09 UAE (+1)16:09 ETNaN: - LeSean McCoy ran for 21 yards on 14 carries Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 26-16 win over the Denver Broncos. He added seven receptions for 48 yards.
Analysis: McCoy was a fantasy bust and also gave a significant amount of carries up to Mike Tolbert. McCoy is still the Bills' best offensive option, but days like this will drive his fantasy owners batty.
|Sep. 17, 2017 12:57 PM PT1:57 PM MT2:57 PM CT3:57 PM ET19:57 GMT3:57 12:57 PM MST2:57 PM EST2:57 PM CT23:57 UAE15:57 ETNaN: - LeSean McCoy ran for nine yards - his fewest since Week 17 of the 2009 season - on 12 carries Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 9-3 loss to the Carolina Panthers. He added six receptions for 34 yards.
Analysis: McCoy has reached the 3,000 yards receiving mark for his career. He is the fourth active running back to achieve the feat, joining Darren Sproles, Matt Forte and Frank Gore.
|Sep. 15, 2017 7:50 AM PT8:50 AM MT9:50 AM CT10:50 AM ET14:50 GMT22:50 7:50 AM MST9:50 AM EST9:50 AM CT18:50 UAE10:50 ETNaN: - McCoy was held out of Friday's practice with groin soreness but is expected to play in Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers.
Analysis: Coach Sean McDermott said he was planning to give McCoy a rest day Friday before the groin issue but remained "very confident" the veteran will be able to handle a full workload Sunday, according to ESPN. The 29-year-old McCoy was listed as a full participant in practices on Wednesday and Thursday with a wrist injury suffered in last Sunday's 21-12 victory over the New York Jets.
|Sep. 10, 2017 1:48 PM PT2:48 PM MT3:48 PM CT4:48 PM ET20:48 GMT4:48 1:48 PM MST3:48 PM EST3:48 PM CT0:48 UAE (+1)16:48 ETNaN: - LeSean McCoy ran for 110 yards on 22 carries Sunday in the Buffalo Bills' 21-12 win over the New York Jets. He added five receptions for 49 yards.
Analysis: Shady looked fantastic in Week 1, though he won't always be going up against a Jets team that may go 0-16.
|Sep. 7, 2017 10:20 AM PT11:20 AM MT12:20 PM CT1:20 PM ET17:20 GMT1:20 10:20 AM MST12:20 PM EST12:20 PM CT21:20 UAE13:20 ETNaN: - McCoy missed a portion of Thursday's practice with what the team referred to as a "stomach bug." McCoy missed a stretch of team drills before finishing the session in a limited capacity.
Analysis: Coach Sean McDermott dismissed any concern for the moment of the team's expected workhorse to miss Buffalo's regular-season opener against the New York Jets.
|Aug. 18, 2017 10:10 AM PT11:10 AM MT12:10 PM CT1:10 PM ET17:10 GMT1:10 10:10 AM MST12:10 PM EST12:10 PM CT21:10 UAE13:10 ETNaN: - McCoy rushed four times for 21 yards and caught one pass for 11 yards in his preseason debut Thursday in a loss to the Eagles, his former team.
Analysis: McCoy, who turned 29 last month, looked very sharp and will clearly be the workhorse in a Buffalo offense which has a suspect quarterback in Tyrod Taylor.
