Analysis: He's expected to start running in two weeks.
|Oct. 26, 2016 1:27 PM PT2:27 PM MT3:27 PM CT4:27 PM ET20:27 GMT4:27 AM 北京时间1:27 PM MST3:27 PM EST3:27 PM CT0:27 UAE (+1)16:27 ETNaN: - Anderson was placed on injured reserve Friday after undergoing surgery on his right knee one day earlier. Anderson underwent an arthroscopic procedure to repair meniscus damage. A timetable for his return hasn't yet been determined, but the decision to place him on injured reserve means he would have to miss at least eight games. Anderson has a team-high 437 rushing yards.
Analysis: Rookie Devontae Booker will make his first start Sunday against the Chargers and is expected to get the bulk of the carries, with Kapri Bibbs backing him up.
|Oct. 24, 2016 8:22 PM PT9:22 PM MT10:22 PM CT11:22 PM ET3:22 GMT11:22 AM 北京时间8:22 PM MST10:22 PM EST10:22 PM CT7:22 UAE (+1)23:22 ETNaN: - Anderson carried most of the load Monday night in a 27-9 win over Houston, rushing 16 times for a season-high 107 yards and a touchdown.
Analysis: This was a bounce-back performance by Anderson, who hadn't gone over 49 yards in any of his previous four games. He split time with Devontae Booker and both had very strong games against a poor Houston run defense. Anderson gets another shot at the Chargers next week after he had 37 yards on 10 carries in a 21-13 loss earlier this month.
|Oct. 13, 2016 8:20 PM PT9:20 PM MT10:20 PM CT11:20 PM ET3:20 GMT11:20 AM 北京时间8:20 PM MST10:20 PM EST10:20 PM CT7:20 UAE (+1)23:20 ET2:20 - Anderson had another relatively quiet performance Thursday night in a 21-13 loss at San Diego, rushing for 37 yards on 10 carries while adding four catches for 34 yards.
Analysis: Since totaling 166 yards in the first two games, Anderson has rushed for under 50 in four straight. It doesn't help Anderson that Devontae Booker had 46 yards on just five carries. It will be interesting to see if Booker's touches go up next week against Houston.
|Oct. 9, 2016 7:12 PM PT8:12 PM MT9:12 PM CT10:12 PM ET2:12 GMT10:12 AM 北京时间7:12 PM MST9:12 PM EST9:12 PM CT6:12 UAE (+1)22:12 ET1:12 - Anderson wasn't much of a factor in Denver' 23-16 loss to Atlanta, finishing with 41 yards on 11 rush attempts and 21 yards on three receptions.
Analysis: Denver's top running back has actually struggled in three straight games, accumulating only 127 yards and averaging 2.9 per carry over that stretch. Anderson will still be worth starting in Thursday's matchup against San Diego's shaky defense, but he could begin losing touches to rookie Devontae Booker in the coming weeks.
|Oct. 2, 2016 6:56 PM PT7:56 PM MT8:56 PM CT9:56 PM ET1:56 GMT9:56 AM 北京时间6:56 PM MST8:56 PM EST8:56 PM CT5:56 UAE (+1)21:56 ET0:56 - Anderson rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries in Denver's Week 4 win at Tampa Bay. He added one catch for three yards.
Analysis: Though he's been held to 86 yards on 33 rushes over the past two weeks, Anderson has four touchdowns in Denver's four games. That knack for the end zone and high-volume usage keeps him a viable every-week fantasy starter.
|Sep. 25, 2016 1:15 PM PT2:15 PM MT3:15 PM CT4:15 PM ET20:15 GMT4:15 AM 北京时间1:15 PM MST3:15 PM EST3:15 PM CT0:15 UAE (+1)16:15 ET19:15 - Anderson had 37 yards on 14 carries in Sunday's win over the Bengals.
Analysis: Anderson had totaled 232 scrimmage yards and three TDs in the first two games before being limited to 21 yards in Week 3.
|Sep. 18, 2016 6:17 PM PT7:17 PM MT8:17 PM CT9:17 PM ET1:17 GMT9:17 AM 北京时间6:17 PM MST8:17 PM EST8:17 PM CT5:17 UAE (+1)21:17 ET0:17 - Anderson churned out 74 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries while adding three catches for 19 yards in Sunday's victory over Indianapolis.
Analysis: With 40 rushing attempts and three touchdowns (two rushing, one receiving) through the first two games, Anderson has put himself into the upper tier of fantasy running backs. He's an every-week fantasy starter when healthy.
|Sep. 8, 2016 8:59 PM PT9:59 PM MT10:59 PM CT11:59 PM ET3:59 GMT11:59 AM 北京时间8:59 PM MST10:59 PM EST10:59 PM CT7:59 UAE (+1)23:59 ET2:59 - Anderson was a fantasy star Thursday, rushing for 92 yards with a TD and had 47 receiving yards with a score.
Analysis: Anderson is a solid RB1 in all formats and showed his versatility Thursday.
|Mar. 15, 2016 11:50 AM PT12:50 PM MT1:50 PM CT2:50 PM ET18:50 GMT2:50 AM 北京时间11:50 AM MST1:50 PM EST12:50 PM CT22:50 UAE14:50 ET17:50 - The Broncos have matched the Miami Dolphins' front-loaded, four-year, $18 million offer to running back C.J. Anderson. General manager John Elway tweeted, "Just got off the phone w/ CJ & let him know we're excited to match the offer sheet. We have high expectations for CJ and we're glad he's back!"
Analysis: The move was somewhat surprising given that the Broncos had placed the lower tender on Anderson, a restricted free agent. That $1.671 million tender included the right of first refusal but no compensation had the Broncos declined to match another team's offer sheet. The higher tender of $2.553 million for 2016 would have included a second-round draft pick as compensation.
|Mar. 10, 2016 9:01 AM PT10:01 AM MT11:01 AM CT12:01 PM ET17:01 GMT1:01 AM 北京时间10:01 AM MST12:01 PM EST11:01 AM CT21:01 UAE12:01 ET16:01 - Anderson signed an $18 million, four-year offer sheet Thursday with the Miami Dolphins, a person familiar with the situation said. The person confirmed the offer to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the Dolphins have not commented.
Analysis: Anderson rushed for 720 yards last year for the NFL champion Denver Broncos, who have five days to match the offer. They're considered unlikely to do so. New Dolphins coach Adam Gase needs a replacement for running back Lamar Miller, who signed a free agent deal with Houston. Gase was offensive coordinator for the Broncos and Anderson in 2013-14. Anderson, undrafted out of Cal in 2013, rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown in a 24-10 win over Carolina in the Super Bowl.
|Feb. 7, 2016 7:55 PM PT8:55 PM MT9:55 PM CT10:55 PM ET3:55 GMT11:55 AM 北京时间8:55 PM MST10:55 PM EST9:55 PM CT7:55 UAE (+1)22:55 ET1:55 - Anderson rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown in the Super Bowl.
Analysis: Anderson capped a strong playoffs after running for 72 yards in each of the previous two games.
