He threw one interception, fumbled once and was sacked four times. Osweiler added 27 rushing yards on four carries.
Analysis: Another pedestrian day for Osweiler, who should only be considered a fantasy option next season in deeper or 2-QB-league formats.
|Dec. 14, 2017 8:36 PM PT9:36 PM MT10:36 PM CT11:36 PM ET4:36 GMT12:36 9:36 PM MST11:36 PM EST10:36 PM CT8:36 UAE23:36 ETNaN: - Osweiler was 12 of 17 for 194 yards and threw two touchdown passes Thursday in the Denver Broncos' 25-13 win over the Indianapolis Colts. He did not throw an interception, didn't fumble and was sacked one time. Osweiler added 17 rushing yards on three carries and scored one touchdown on the ground.
Analysis: After coming in for the injured Trevor Siemian in the first quarter, Osweiler will start in Week 16. However, if you are playing for a fantasy title and in need of QB, he should not be it.
|Nov. 19, 2017 6:03 PM PT7:03 PM MT8:03 PM CT9:03 PM ET2:03 GMT10:03 7:03 PM MST9:03 PM EST8:03 PM CT6:03 UAE (+1)21:03 ETNaN: - Brock Osweiler was 23 of 42 for 254 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Denver Broncos' 20-17 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. He threw one interception, didn't fumble and was sacked three times. Osweiler added 24 rushing yards on four carries.
Analysis: With Paxton Lynch now healthy enough to dress and the Broncos' season in a free-fall, this may be the end of the line for Osweiler. The much-maligned quarterback isn't a good fantasy option even if he keeps the starting job for another week, though. He's completed just 53.1 percent of his passes for 683 yards and three touchdowns with four interceptions in his three 2017 starts.
|Nov. 13, 2017 9:28 PM PT10:28 PM MT11:28 PM CT12:28 AM ET5:28 GMT13:28 10:28 PM MST12:28 AM EST11:28 PM CT9:28 UAE0:28 ETNaN: - Brock Osweiler was 18 of 33 for 221 yards and threw one touchdown pass Sunday in the Denver Broncos' 41-16 loss to the New England Patriots. He threw one interception, didn't fumble and was not sacked.
Analysis: Osweiler's second start since returning to Denver was an improvement over last week's debacle in Philadelphia, but still certainly not good enough to recommend going forward. The Broncos, however, have said he'll start in Week 11.
|Nov. 6, 2017 11:33 AM PT12:33 PM MT1:33 PM CT2:33 PM ET19:33 GMT3:33 12:33 PM MST2:33 PM EST1:33 PM CT23:33 UAE14:33 ETNaN: - The Broncos are reportedly going to stick with Osweiler as their starting quarterback against the Patriots this weekend.
Analysis: Osweiler was hardly mediocre while going 19 of 38 for 208 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in a blowout loss to the Eagles on Sunday. He is not a starter in one-QB fantasy leagues and should only be one in deeper leagues if only needed.

|Nov. 1, 2017 7:19 AM PT8:19 AM MT9:19 AM CT10:19 AM ET14:19 GMT22:19 7:19 AM MST9:19 AM EST8:19 AM CT18:19 UAE10:19 ETNaN: - Osweiler is starting this week against the Eagles.
Analysis: Osweiler, who has thrown four passes this season, starting against the NFL's best team, begs a pretty simple question: What could go wrong? Probably quite a bit, but it's not like Trevor Siemian was moving this offense in a positive direction. Either way, don't start Osweiler unless your other option is going without a QB. And even then, think long and hard before you do.

|Sep. 2, 2017 5:14 PM PT6:14 PM MT7:14 PM CT8:14 PM ET0:14 GMT8:14 5:14 PM MST7:14 PM EST7:14 PM CT4:14 UAE (+1)20:14 ETNaN: - Osweiler is returning to Denver as the Broncos' backup quarterback. The Broncos agreed to terms with Peyton Manning's former apprentice Saturday on a one-year deal after he was cut by the Cleveland Browns. Provided he passes his physical Monday, Osweiler will serve as Trevor Siemian's understudy in his second stint in Denver.
Analysis: The Broncos needed another quarterback because Paxton Lynch, their 2016 first-round draft pick who was beaten out by Siemian for a second straight summer, will miss a month or more with a sprained throwing shoulder. Osweiler went 5-2 in relief of an injured Manning during the Broncos' Super Bowl season two years ago.
|Sep. 1, 2017 3:21 PM PT4:21 PM MT5:21 PM CT6:21 PM ET22:21 GMT6:21 3:21 PM MST5:21 PM EST5:21 PM CT2:21 UAE (+1)18:21 ETNaN: - The NFL career of Osweiler took another turn in the wrong direction on Friday when he was released by the Cleveland Browns, multiple media outlets reported. After naming rookie DeShone Kizer as the regular season starting quarterback, the Browns had little need for the high-priced Osweiler.
Analysis: The Browns acquired Osweiler in March from the Houston Texans in a deal that sent Osweiler, the Texans' 2018 second-round pick and a 2017 sixth-round pick to Cleveland in exchange for a 2017 fourth-round pick. The Texans had signed Osweiler to a four-year, $72 million deal in free agency after Osweiler had made seven starts with the Denver Broncos in 2015.
|Aug. 22, 2017 6:49 AM PT7:49 AM MT8:49 AM CT9:49 AM ET13:49 GMT21:49 6:49 AM MST8:49 AM EST8:49 AM CT17:49 UAE9:49 ETNaN: - Osweiler went 6 of 8 for 25 yards and threw an interception while playing two series in the Browns' 10-6 win over the Giants on Monday.
Analysis: Osweiler still appears to be the favorite to win the starting QB job, though this performance hardly backed up that possibility.
|Aug. 18, 2017 4:21 PM PT5:21 PM MT6:21 PM CT7:21 PM ET23:21 GMT7:21 4:21 PM MST6:21 PM EST6:21 PM CT3:21 UAE (+1)19:21 ETNaN: - Osweiler will make his second straight preseason start at quarterback for the Cleveland Browns when they face the Giants on Monday night at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, but head coach Hue Jackson's main mission is getting an extended look at rookie DeShone Kizer.
Analysis: Osweiler played four series in the preseason opener and might get less time against the Giants.
|Aug. 7, 2017 5:23 AM PT6:23 AM MT7:23 AM CT8:23 AM ET12:23 GMT20:23 5:23 AM MST7:23 AM EST7:23 AM CT16:23 UAE8:23 ETNaN: - Osweiler will start Cleveland's exhibition opener on Thursday against New Orleans.
Analysis: Browns coach Hue Jackson announced the selection of Osweiler over Cody Kessler and rookie DeShone Kizer on Monday. Osweiler, who has not worked with Cleveland's starting offense in training camp, started 14 games last season for Houston before he was traded to the Browns in March.
|Mar. 9, 2017 4:24 PM PT5:24 PM MT6:24 PM CT7:24 PM ET0:24 GMT8:24 5:24 PM MST7:24 PM EST6:24 PM CT4:24 UAE (+1)19:24 ETNaN: - The Browns acquired Oswelier and a 2018 second-round pick on Thursday in a stunning trade with the Houston Texans, who were looking for a partner to help them get rid of the QB's contract.
Analysis: Osweiler gives the Browns more options and it's possible they could use him to entice another team to make a trade. Osweiler went 8-6 in 14 starts for Houston last season.
